Arriving in Ceremonial Splendour.
This is the time and this is the season.
We're opening up the ancient wells.
When I was seated in Heavenly Places.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Arriving in
Ceremonial Splendour.
When I
asked a question of my Faith's Defender,
He
said, ”You are to arrive in Ceremonial Splendour”.
“So
put on your Royal Robes and do it right,
Pronounce
in Faith and Build a Throne for the King of Light”.
So as
you Believe and as you Pray, you must also Decree,
That
‘Jesus Christ is Lord of All’ that you can see.
So
Faith in Him is the Substance and the Evidence,
That
God, in our Hearts will take up Residence.
He
dwells in the hearts of men, but also under His Canopy.
He
will inhabit our praise and Display his Panoply.
So now
with the Song of the Lord and with His Dance,
We'll
take this Ground and see His Kingdom greatly advance.
So
with the High Praises of God and a Great Fanfare,
We’ll
possess with joy the Land, and war with His Warfare.
With
the Power of our Declaration and of our Proclamation,
We'll
rejoice and take His Mighty Gospel to this Nation.
Thus
far the Lord has brought us, yes our Ebenezer,
And in
triumph, from our spirits will gush a Geyser
Of
Intercession, of Intimacy and with our Fiery Vision,
We'll
acquit ourselves as men, as if upon His Mission.
For
there is a Territory Great that we must take,
And
let the Son of Perdition make no mistake,
That
glorious Sons of God with Sword in Hand,
Declare
like Joshua, "We are well able to take the Land".
For if
in Mighty God we completely put our Trust,
Who
can then resist the Spirit's move and Thrust?
When
at last we recognise Him as ‘Our All in All’,
What
shall come forth from us, is a Mighty Fireball.
Which
through this very nation shall cut a swathe,
And
bring His Presence, so that ALL may bathe.
In the
Increasing Waves of His Power and Glory,
As
with grateful, humble hearts we share the Gospel Story.
So
will YOU arise and Intercede in this Time of His Need?
And
come forth from your closet with Precious Seed,
Soaked
in tears from a broken and a contrite heart.
So
that Jesus Christ, in Power can do His Part.
Yes I
believe that I can hear of a Good Report.
That
rising from those in Faith, comes this Retort.
"We
are on Lord's Side, and we can't miss,
Because WE
were born for such a time as THIS”.
Eric
Mckenna
When God’s making
clear what’s the reason,
For this, the great
depth of His loving dealing,
And the vital need
for all of His deep healing.
It has all been a
great and gracious preparation,
For the awakening of
this, His Holy Nation.
That those who walk
in the ‘Truth and Spirit’,
Can be more conscious
of God’s great visit.
He comes to us all to
rest and abide,
In the hearts of
those who can divide,
Between marrow and
bone, spirit and soul,
By discerning what’s
right and truly whole.
They try to say what
they hear He says,
And try to do what
He’s doing always.
For as they seek to
walk in the truth,
God’s confirming
power will be the proof.
He has fully equipped
them all with power,
To live by faith and
to stand fast in this hour.
Then to demonstrate
the power of kingdom Life,
In this, our sick
world, where sin is so rife.
So with our weapons
not carnal, of warfare,
We enforce the
Kingdom with His true fanfare.
As we boldly proclaim
this Jesus as Messiah,
And with faith
declare that there’s no name higher.
They will not faint
and they will not weary,
Those that understand
what Daniel has said clearly.
“That people will be
willing in the day of His power”,
And will rise up like
Gideon in valour, at this hour.
The fields are so
white with a full, ripe harvest,
For those who with
strong crying will invest,
In the souls of the
dying and the lost: their tears.
Then return, reaping
in joy, as His return nears.

There was a man of great valour
called Gideon,
Who God thought could root out the Midian.
But Gideon was hiding in a wine vat threshing,
While the Lord considered His work of refreshing.
So the Lord decided to send an Angel bright,
And to be honest gave poor Gideon quite a fright.
Who clearly said, “Hail thou man of great valour”.
“Who me? said the startled man of great power.
I’m the very least of my family and of my kin,
And I’d really rather not be risking my own skin.
But God likes a challenge and knew Gideon’s heart,
So nonetheless He decided to set Gideon apart.
Gideon wavered ‘cos he had friends cut off in their
primes,
But soon enough God had fleeced him a couple of times.
Bold Gideon made lunch of broth and scones proffering,
But the Angel with one bolt soon made burnt offering.
His army of thirty odd thousand was now on the brink,
God said: ”Send the fearful home and go for a drink”.
Now there was much less risk of God’s glory being
hindered,
Because God had now reduced him to some three hundred.
Fully equipped with trumpet, pitcher and a light,
They were told to surround poor Midian at night.
And all this after he heard of a dream of a cheese,
Rolling down a hill; seen as Gideon, if you please.
As you all know if you’ve read this, His fine story,
God fought his own battle and got all the glory.
So it’s always best not to fight in our own energies,
Because God likes a really good laugh at His enemies.
Eric Mckenna
But against spirits and powers no good.
So be strong in the Lord and His might,
And together we’ll win this great fight.
So buckle up your double-edged sword,
And with faith we’ll fight, for the Lord,
For with preparation of gospel shod feet,
We’ll defeat the resistance that we meet.
Fit on tight your righteous breastplate,
And counter the
demons of anger and hate.
Put on the salvation helmet He’s provided,
Stand and fight for the Lord as you’re guided.
For with His truth as a strong girdle,
We’ll overcome every demonic hurdle.
And with His faith held as a shield,
We’ll quench fiery darts and not yield.
Stand fast against the wiles of the Devil,
And temptations form those who’d revel,
To see us stain and spoil our Holy Raiment,
Given us free by Christ’s blood payment.
So having done all, then let us all stand,
Making heart felt petition for our land.
Praying always with all prayer and supplication,
Watching with perseverance for saints and the nation.
Eric Mckenna
But I saw little evidence of His mighty hand.
Yet within, my heart was strangely warmed,
And I then saw His Body, strong and formed,
My heart did leap and my faith did expand.
For I saw in faith, the start of a colossal wave,
And it came in grace and power, our land to save.
It stood upon high with the force of a tsunami,
And it empowered the people to join His army.
It reminded me now, of an Almighty Tidal Wave.
He showed me how that in these coming days,
There’d be great healings from Heavenly rays,
Beaming forth from the White Throne on high,
Drawing the blind and lame from far and nigh.
Reaching lost souls from all our towns and bays.
As the thunders pealed and the lightnings flashed,
The power of our soul’s enemy was totally smashed.
And then the glorious Sons of God were revealed,
They were those who’d been in Christ concealed.
Now brought forth when some thought they’d crashed.
Eric Mckenna

Where are the strong men of Zion?
Men that our God can rely on.
Where are the women of Destiny?
Raised to quell this foul mutiny.
Why, they’re in Judah the Lion!
Where are the men of great valour?
Called by our God for this hour.
Where are the women like Deborah?
Ready to hold fast in this clamour.
Why, they’re living in Jesus’ power.
Where are the new Sons of Zadok?
When the enemy would run amok.
Where are the new daughters of Philip?
Who prophesy as correctly as His lip.
Why, they’re bringing to Satan great havoc.
Where are the tongues that the altar,
By hot coals touched, so don’t falter,
To speak out His true words, solely?
That men will fall flat and are wholly,
Undone in their hearts, so become softer.
Where are the men of real anointing?
Ready to move fast at his appointing.
Where are the women of real authority?
Ready to break through this mediocrity.
Why, they’re living in prayer, supplicating.
Where are the old men with God’s dreams?
Who with them could silence some screams.
Where are the young men with their visions?
Who with them could prevent some collisions.
Why, they’re believing the promises it seems.
Where are all the signs and the wonders?
And all the peals and claps of the thunders.
Where on earth are those great healings?
When so many of our prayers hit ceilings.
Why, they’re in the lives of all true believers.
So then, who will believe this, our report?
That Satan is cast down and made nought.
And will reach into the Power of the Ages,
To set all of them free from sin’s wages.
Why? Because all this, Jesus has Bought.
Eric Mckenna
The Earth itself is now both creaking and groaning,
With the loud sounds of the lost, crying and moaning.
Together they’re waiting for revelation, and yearning,
For sons of God to be brought forth with zeal burning.
As across the world, intercessors; prayers are now
pouring.
Petitions of great faith to see all the nations start
soaring,
To see His knowledge, like waters of God, Earth
smothering,
That soon the whole of the Globe should have Glory
covering.
For the final army of the Lord is now rising and is
treading.
From North to South and East to West, a sound is
spreading,
As the Holy Spirit moves in His works of power
increasing,
The days of Satan’s rule are running short and
decreasing.
There’s a sound of God’s people and of God’s feet
pounding,
Now in unison with the strategies of Jesus Christ
resounding.
As sounds of the Earth and sounds of Heaven are
resonating,
Key strongholds of the Devil, by God’s power are
detonating.
There’s a brand new breed of believer, who at His
appointing,
Are now ready to move out in The Acts of the Apostles
anointing.
The millions now to their Saviour are kneeling and
bowing,
Confessing their faith and to Him they are their lives
vowing.
As earthquakes, pestilence, famines and wars are
increasing,
Supplications and petitions are beginning to rise without
ceasing.
That in answer, God with signs and wonders will give
evidence,
That The Son, Jesus Christ in all things might have the
pre-eminence.
So with reference to the Sons of God who don’t yet know
their place,
It’s still time to pray and time to fast and time to seek
His face.
That they might have it revealed; the real purpose and
the reason,
How we must seek to go about God’s business in this last
Season.
Eric Mckenna

In the heavens above, I could hear some faint drumming,
And as I tuned it in, it was accompanied by some strumming,
Joining the sound was a steady pounding of some feet running,
It seemed to me in the Spirit like there was a Fireball coming.
I then looked in the Spirit and I saw it streak across the sky,
It seemed like a meteorite trail, but I didn't quite know why.
Something in my heart leapt with joy and then I started to cry,
As I began to realise it was from Jesus, my Lord God on high.
This was no earthly fireball, it surely was both a sign and a wonder,
My feet began to dance and I heard the rumbling of a great thunder.
It seemed the Devil had overstepped his mark and made a blunder,
Because in the Fireball was anointing for the Saints to greatly plunder.
For with these signs in the Heavens were released signs in the Earth.
Whereas of His manifest presence and glory there'd been a dearth,
The Song of the Lord was rising and the Saints now had great mirth,
Because miracles in abundance through faith were being given birth.
As the Great Cloud of Witnesses stood and cheered from in heaven,
His last pure Church was being revealed and that without leaven.
Instead of a few Prophets and of the great Apostles, some eleven,
A Prophetic, Apostolic congregation rose when seals were opening, seven.
In these very last days it was revealed, the Acts of Apostles anointing,
All the faithful Saints were rising, as one to move at His appointing.
As the Devil trembled, these Warriors were the demons frightening,
Because boldness and authority in great measure was in them mounting.
Like Peter of old, who saw great healings when his shadow was falling,
The gifts of the Spirit with power came on all those who'd been calling.
As strongholds of witchcraft and wickedness, the Saints were mauling,
The Church was unstoppable and won great victories over demons appalling.
With shouts of triumph through the power of the blood declared always,
They cut a swathe of healing deliverance as He revealed His glorious ways.
The blind could see and the deaf could hear and both could an anthem raise,
As the lame could leap and the lost at last could shout His mighty praise.
So will you now , when you hear the Spirit come near to woo,
Be ready at this time to move with all that He's about to do?
Raising a spotless Bride, a Holy Nation built of Gentile and Jew,
To present to God our Father, a perfected Church, not just a chosen few.

Eric Mckenna

We’re
opening up the ancient wells.
You really need to know that we aren’t the kind of
people,
Who measure our God by the height of a Church steeple.
We are not people who’s hearts have lost their Holy
fire,
We’re going to open ancient wells; it’s to this, we
aspire.
We read about our forebears and it’s not just a
childish story,
They stood in faith and believed there’d be a day of
His glory.
The work they did, the wells they dug have all but been
filled in,
But at His command we’ve obeyed and we’re repenting
of sin.
It was not in vain that Wesley, Wigglesworth, Carey and
Booth,
Declared the gospel of Jesus, many broken, sinful hearts
to soothe.
Their well of anointing isn’t lost; it’s covered by
the vicious stones,
Thrown by unbelievers, those who were like dry, wind
lashed bones.
This is the time, this is the season, when saints, for
better or worse,
Will by prayer and prophetic acts of faith now remove
the old curse.
We’ll go to the ancient monuments and to the heads of
the streams,
We’ll pour in our salt and oil and reactivate the
forgotten dreams.
The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, is a keeper of
promises old.
About the Canaanites, Amorites and Amalekites we’ve
all been told,
But God’s raising up a generation of men of faith and
fiery boldness,
Those who can believe that the anointing can break all
this coldness.
When Elijah thought he was alone, God had reserved seven
thousand,
How much more in these days has not God hid an army in
this our land.
Now rising as one, are men and women of faith to tear
down strongholds,
Speaking to the valley of dry bones and making them into
His sheepfolds.
Because they’ve long sought their Saviour Jesus for a
powerful unction,
They’ll have the power to overcome and to carry out
His every function.
What a heady cocktail of His faith, boldness, power and
anointing,
They’ll have to release the living water from old
wells at his appointing.
When the artesian wells bring forth their pouring and
their gushing,
Sinners and saints alike will to the sparkling living
waters be rushing.
Then we’ll see how all the tedious times of cleansing
and preparation,
Were needed for the wells of old to bring forth healing
and reparation.
So if you’re dehydrated like those dry bones, feeling
thirsty and parched,
And wondering why you’ve often in wilderness trailed
and in desert marched,
It was so you could know what it’s like to forget what
it’s like to be drenched,
Then to identify with the lost and learn to pray that
their thirst be quenched.
So come on then, let’s see it from His view, see how
it looks from in heaven,
It’s time to come clean, celebrate His Passover and to
sweep out all the leaven.
There’s no more time for the squeamish, for the
fearful or for the fainthearted,
Because He’s looking for well diggers, earth shakers
and for the bravehearted.
Eric Mckenna

Down there among the dead men, where they all hang out,
There's a stench of the hopeless, wailing and crying out.
They're yelling for mercy from God who doesn't seem to care,
Because they don't know He's sent the Christians down there.
The Saints won't want to spoil their pristine holy garments,
They think it a sentence and can't afford the payments.
But God's not deaf and He's not so blind as He can't see,
And says "When you minister to them you minister to me".
"When they are in the hospital, you visit them, you visit me"
"When I was in prison, did you visit the least, and visit me"?
They say they've a home to build, a job to do, and hours, a few,
In reply, He says "I'm building you a mansion, I've a job for you".
Eric Mckenna

I think we need to feel that He’s Omnipresent.
We need to experience that the Father is our God.
We need to perceive that the Spirit is our God.
We need to realise Jesus Christ is our God.
Like water, ice and steam, it’s really all the same.
Like His love, joy and peace, He’s really the same.
Like yesterday, today and forever, He’s the same.
For the Gentile, the Jew and Christian He came to die.
For the embryo, the young and old He came to die.
For the black, the white and yellow, He came to die.
We need to accept that His years are infinity.
We need to experience that He’s in our close
vicinity.
No matter what has been the level of our perfidity,
There's still time for us to know His great affinity,
For us all who'd love to have revealed, His Divinity.
Eric MckennaWhen I was seated in Heavenly Places
When
I was seated in Heavenly Places
I
could see some startled shining faces.
As
the great cloud of gathered witnesses
Were
in awe at Christian faithlessnesses.
For
in spite of all the hours of teaching
And
of some fairly good, stylish preaching.
Saints
were to their mentors screeching
Instead
of to their own Saviour reaching.
Once
again Jesus, they’d failed to see
In
their life could again the Helper be.
For
to the rescue with the Kingdom key
His
mercy came so they could Glory see.
When
they were down, all seemed lost
A
new denial of the power of Pentecost.
What
could they do, what need they most
It
is the overshadowing of the Holy Ghost.
When
intercessors prayed, the answer came
There
was today a victory in Jesus’ mighty name.
Come
the blind, come the deaf, come the lame
Yesterday,
today and forever Jesus is the same.
Heaven’s
cloud began to rise and cheer as one
An
army began to move, as unbelief was gone..
Strongholds
trembled and were made as none
Eric Mckenna
